Emma currently is an aspiring actress who pays the bills working as a waitress in Salt Lake City. Born in Arizona and raised in Kanab until she was 14, she then moved to Canada and lived there until she was almost 24. She moved back to Utah in early 2009 and is very happy she made that decision! James and Emma met in Homeroom in 5th grade when they were 9-years-old. They soon developed mutual crushes on each other, which resulted in a very brief playground wedding after which James ran away. The mutual crushes continued to last even though Emma moved to a different country for 10 years. James and Emma kept in touch through email and online messaging, and would run into each other briefly when Emma would visit her hometown on vacation. Finally, when Emma moved back to Utah, she and James both realized that their childhood crushes on each other had turned into something more, and decided to start dating. 8 months later they were engaged!
